My name is Clayton Schisler. I live on the Caribbean side of Mexico, in the Riviera Maya.

I am almost twelve years old. Three years ago, when I surfed my first wave, I knew I had found my happy place.

Whenever I'm in the ocean, I feel relaxed. It's exciting and I feel like I'm myself.

Now, I'm training hard to become the best surfer I can be.

I am working on the power of my maneuvers, releasing the fins and sliding my tail.

 

My goal is to be on the podium at the Mexican Nationals and one day to be on the World Surf League Championship Tour.

Another thing that I really like about being a competitive surfer is that I get to travel and explore new places. It's always fun to have new adventures and make new friends wherever you go.
